Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (November 23, 2015) – The concluding days of the CruiseOne National Conference aboard Norwegian Escape gave agents a final opportunity to mingle with cruise line executives, receive updates on innovative new support programs being launched at corporate headquarters and learn new business-building skills to implement when they return home. It was also announced to attendees that the 2016 CruiseOne National Conference will take place aboard Carnival Cruise Line’s new Carnival Vista®.
Serving as the master of ceremonies all week, Drew Daly, general manager of network engagement & performance, connected all the presentations from the week together in a motivational speech that inspired attendees to take action with their businesses positioning them for future success.
Fundraising is a core component of National Conference every year when franchisees, agents, staff and suppliers all come together to support World Travel Holdings’ signature charity for the last five years, Make-A-Wish®. From guessing next year’s conference date and silent auctions to the third annual Zumba@Sea – Dance For Wishes” and “In the Park After Dark,” a fundraising event on the ship’s ropes course one evening. This year’s fundraising activities raised more than $80,000, which will help grant more than eight wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
